Today we are looking at, A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi Trio. Reissued by Analogue Productions as catalog number APJ 8431 in 2014, for this original 1965 release.

Reveal 0134: Gremlins (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Today we are looking at, the Gremlins Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith. Released by Mondo as catalog number MOND-083 in 2016. 

This is the deluxe edition from Mondo. The cover has an image of Spike, with invisible UV sensitive writing which will be revealed when exposed to sunlight (not seen here). The back contains the tracklisting, as well as an image of Gizmo strung up with Christmas lights, with additional UV sensitive writing (not seen here), the full scene is revealed across the outer gatefold. Opening the gatefold reveals an illustration of the moment the Gremlins hatched from their pods.

This release included an OBI strip with release information.

This release includes two printed inner sleeves, the front of each contains water sensitive writing (not seen here), with Gizmo on the first, and Spike on the second. While the back of the first contains the album credits, and the back of the second containing the musician credits.

The album is pressed on 2 LPs, the first is brown and white swirl, or Mogwai, for sides A and B. The second is pressed on green and white swirl, or Gremlins, for sides C and D.

This release is housed in a plane cardboard sleeve, and was limited to the top 50 donors for the original EP. 

The album is pressed on a white snowflake shaped and lathe-cut disc, which is hand numbered out of 50. The full release is contained on the first side, with nothing on the back.

Today we are looking at, Make America Say Merry Christmas Again! by Anal Trump. Self released by the artist with no catalog number in 2017.

All proceeds for these Anal Trump releases were donated to various causes, this release donated to Union of Concerned Scientists. The cover has an image of an orange racist, with suspicious candy cane logo behind him. The back contains the tracklisting, and lyrics for each track.

The album is pressed on a single 5”, because this EP is smaller than the average single. Pressed on ’Snowflake White’ with all music playing on the first side, with nothing on the back side.
