Reveal 0126: Gwar - Scumdogs of the Universe

Today we are looking at, Scumdogs of the Universe by Gwar. Reissued by Metal Blade Records as catalog number 3984-15439-1 in 2016, for this original 1990 release.

The cover has this image of the scumdogs, among the band name and album title. The back contains the tracklisting, as well as an image of Gwar Woman with her servants. Opening the gatefold shows all extended members of Gwar, along with a cutout that forms a pop-up when partially opened.

This release includes two inserts, the first is a certificate of authenticity from Metal Blade Records for this record store day limited edition release. The second insert has the members and story of Gwar on the front, along with the credits, and the lyrics on the back, marked up by the leader of the morality squad, Edna P. Granbo, so that all the kids will know why this record is so cool to listen to.

The album is pressed on 2 black LPs for sides A, B, C, and D.
