Reveal 0278: Crosss - LO / Obsidian Spectre

Today we are looking at, the LO and Obsidian Spectre LPs compilation by Crosss. Released by Joyful Noise Recordings as catalog number JNR192 in 2016. 

This release combines the LO and Obsidian Spectre releases by Crosss. The cover for LO has the band name and album title, along with this composite image. The back is on the right side of the inner gatefold and contains the tracklist and credits. The cover for Obsidian Spectre is on the opposite side and contains the band name, album title, and an ornate stairwell. The back is on the right side of the inner gatefold and contains the tracklist.

The spine contains the hand numbering out of 500 total copies.

LO is pressed on clear with white splatter for sides A, and B.

Obsidian Spectre includes an insert, with some photographs on the front, and the credits and lyrics on the back. 

The album is pressed on clear with black splatter for sides a, and b.

Reveal 0024: Death Stranding - Original Score

Today we are looking at the Death Stranding Score, composed by Ludvig Forssell. Released by Mondo as catalog number MOND-177 in 2020.  This was released as a triple gatefold to cover all 29 tracks across 3 LPs.

The cover has an image of  hands amongst some floating orbs. The back has the tracklisting and album credits.

Opening the trifold shows the lyrics for BB’s Theme on the right. With the beginning of a surrealist image on the left side, which expands as the trifold is fully opened. 

The record comes with an OBI style promo, with further details about this record, as well as promoting other releases by Mondo.

In addition, there is an insert included, with a message from Ludvig Forssell on the front, and credits for each track on the back. 

The album is pressed on 3 180g LPs. Clear and black splatter for sides One and Two. Clear with gold splatter for sides Three and Four. And Clear with red splatter for sides Five and Six.
