Reveal 0337: Trixie Mattel - Two Birds, One Stone

Today we are looking at, Two Birds, One Stone by Trixie Mattel. Released by ATO Records as catalog number ATLP249 in 2018. This release combines the first two self-released albums by Trixie Mattel.

The cover has the artist name, album title for Two Birds, photos of the artist, and a glossy print signature. The back contains the artist name, album title for One Stone, tracklist, and a photo montage of the artist. Opening the gatefold reveals a photo of the artist getting ready, and a conversation between Trixie and the producer.

A poster is included with a photo representing Two Birds, and One Stone.

A sticker set is included for both releases.

This release includes a printed inner sleeve, with the lyrics for Two Birds on the front, and the lyrics for One Stone on the back.

The album is pressed on pink, exclusive to Urban Outfitters, for sides A, and B.

Reveal 0186: Dan Mason - Forever Nothing

Today we are looking at, Forever Nothing by Dan Mason. Released by 100% Electronica as catalog number 122P in 2020. 

The cover has the album title, along with this design. The back contains the tracklist, as well as the designs used for the singles leading up to this release.

100% Electronica releases include a trading card, this release included a Dan Mason trading card.

The album is pressed on pink for sides A, and B.

Reveal 0167: The Posies - Frosting on the Beater

Today we are looking at, Frosting on the Beater by The Posies. Reissued by Omnivore Recordings as catalog number OVLP-292 in 2018, for this original 1993 release. This is the remastered and signed version of this album from pledge music.

An extra cover was signed and included with this release if purchased through pledge music. The cover  included with this release is slightly larger than the signed version, to accomodate this double LP release. The back contains the tracklist, and titular frosting on the beater.

This release includes a folded insert, with writings from other musicians and music reviewers, as well as notes from the band about each song. 

The album is pressed on two pink LPs, and spins at 45 RPM, for sides 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Reveal 0112: Peaches - The Teaches of Peaches

Today we are looking at, The Teaches of Peaches by Peaches. Reissued by XL Recordings as catalog number XLLP 163 in 2011, for this original 2000 release. 

The cover has this image, with the artist name overlaid. The back contains the tracklist and credits for the album.

This release includes a printed inner sleeve, with images from a Peaches live performance on the front, and back, along with props from the artist.

The album is pressed on pink for sides A, and B.

Reveal 0020: Macintosh Plus - Floral Shoppe

Today we are looking at, Floral Shoppe by Macintosh Plus. Released by Olde English Spelling Bee as catalog number OESB-92 in 2017 for this original 2011 release. This is the only official vinyl release of this album, although it is not without controversy, with many orders remaining unfulfilled.

This marks the first release, harkening the birth of the vaporwave scene, from Vektroid aka Macintosh Plus. The cover has a now familiar composite style image with imagery from different cultures and time periods. The back contains the tracklisting.

This release also includes a poster of the image used on the label.

The album is pressed on a single pink LP for sides A and B.
