Reveal 0094: Aleister Crowley - The Black Magic Masters

Today we are looking at, The Black Magic Masters by Aleister Crowley. Reissued by Cleopatra as catalog number CLP 2308 in 2015, for this original 1986 release. 

The cover has this image of the occultist. The back has a heptagram, the star of Babalon, with the writing “Sigillvm Sanctvm Fraternitatis A…A…” meaning “The Holy Seal of the Brotherhood of the Silver Star”. These are numbered with a gold stamp, out of 666 total numbered copies.

The album is pressed on white for sides A, and B.

Reveal 0037: El DeBarge - El Debarge

Today we are looking at, the self titled debut release by El DeBarge. Released by Gordy as catalog number 6181GL in 1986. 

The cover has a brooding image of El Debarge underneath the name. The back contains the tracklisting, along with a photo of a pre-mullet El DeBarge in a wonderful high collared jacket.

This release contains a printed slipcase, showing a repeated El DeBarge on the front, along with a printed message and signature. The back of the slipcase repeats El DeBarge one last time, along with the credits for the album.

The album is pressed on a single black LP for sides One and Two.
