Today we are looking at, Magus by Thou. Released by Sacred Bones Records as catalog number SBR-205 in 2018. This is the indie store exclusive pressing of this album.

The cover has this image of two women, under a foreboding tree. The back is blank with nothing but the sacred bones logo. Opening the gatefold reveals another image of a woman, with arms outstretched.

This release includes an insert, with an image of a woman on the front, and the lyrics and credits on the back. 

The album is pressed on two magenta LPs for sides A, B, C, and D.

Reveal 0046: Subrosa - For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages

Today we are looking at, For This We Fought The Battle Of Ages by Subrosa. Released by Profound Lore Records as catalog number PFL-170.5 in 2016.

The cover has a stylized image of the inner gatefold design, along with the band name and album title. The back contains the tracklisting with a unique symbol to denote the side each track is on. The inside of the gatefold has this image, along with a quote by Yevgeny Zamyatin.

This release includes an insert with the lyrics on one side, and the credits for the album on the opposite side.

Also included are two printed inner sleeves, with a unique botany focus representing each side of the record. A Rose, and Lily of the Valley used to represent the first two sides of this black pressed record. And Henbane and Wormwood used for the second record’s sides.
