Today we are looking at, Oh No by Xiu Xiu. Released by Polyvinyl Record Company as catalog number PRC-426 in 2021. This is the Early Bird pressing of this album, limited to 750 copies.

The cover has a drawing of eyes. The back contains the band logo. Opening the gatefold reveals the tracklist and the duetists, lyrics, message of thanks, and the credits.

This release includes two post cards, designed by the artists.

The album is pressed on two scarlet and cream split records, with no markings on the labels, and spins at 45RPM for sides A, B, C, and D.

Reveal 0043: XIU XIU - Daphny

Today we are looking at the 7” single, Daphny by XIU XIU. Released by Polyvinyl Record Company as catalog number  PRC-225-7 in 2011. 

The cover has this image, along with a poignant message from the band, inspired by the title track ‘Daphny’ which is about a friend of Jamie’s who was raped by a police officer after being arrested for shoplifting. The back contains the lyrics for the A side track, and the credits for both songs along the bottom.

The album is pressed on black, with a deep purple label, with no other writing, used for sides A, and B.

Today we are looking at, Xiu Xiu - Plays the Music of Twin Peaks. Released by Polyvinyl as catalog number PRC-312 in 2016. This is the first repressing of this album.

The cover has only a red circle. While the inside of the gatefold contains the album title on the left side, with the tracklisting on the right. The back has only a blue circle.
