Reveal 0030: Arca - KiCk i

Today we are looking at, KiCk i by Arca. Released by XL Recordings as catalog number XL997LP in 2020. 

This marks their second full length release on XL Recordings. The cover has this image of a body modified Arca, with artist name in a drip paint style. The back contains the tracklisting, and the inside of the gatefold reveals an artistic photograph.

This also includes a 16 page booklet with artwork, photography, and the lyrics in an uncomfortably justified font.

The album is pressed on one black LP for sides A, and B.

Reveal 0015: El Guincho - Pop Negro

Today we are looking at, Pop Negro by El Guincho. Released by Young Turks as catalog number YTLP047 in 2010. 

The cover has an image of an octopus, with the artist and album name embossed on the border. The back contains an image of Pablo in his bedroom studio, with an embossed track listing. The inside of this gatefold release has the album name emblazoned acrossed both sides, also embossed.

This release also includes a booket containing the lyrics and credits for each song.

The album is pressed on a single black LP for sides A and B.
